Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a 13-week assignment in Aurora, Colorado starting July 27, 2026. The position requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, night shifts, and a valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.

  • One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN
  • Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • NIHSS certification preferred

Essential Work Functions

  • Complete nursing assessment of patients on the unit and documents appropriately into patient records
  • Prepare patients for surgery, including educating them about procedures and post-operative care
  • Cook up and coordinate holistic patient care, including mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, and activities of daily living (ADLs), while ensuring adherence to individualized care plans
  • Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies and equipment to support rehabilitation care
  • Avoid safe patient transport to and from therapy sessions, diagnostic procedures, or other care areas as needed
  • Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

Required Essential Skills

  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
  • The ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
  • The ability to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
  • The ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism
  • The ability to perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
  • The ability to maintain continuous concentration to detail
