About the role
Travel nursing assignment in Thornton, Colorado at HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge, Interventional Radiology unit. Shift: 8 hours, days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Monday through Friday plus call.
Unit Information
- 150-bed unit with 5 staff members (2 IR RNs and 2 IR Techs on day shift; night shift is on-call only with weekend call)
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: Siemens Single plane C-arm
- EMR: Meditech
Typical procedures performed:
- Para/thora/LVO/FNA/Mid line/PICC line/Kyphoplasty/PE thrombectomy
- Vascular access, conscious sedation, and critical care

Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 patient care in an Interventional Radiology setting
- Perform vascular access, conscious sedation, and critical care procedures
- Participate in on-call shifts (5 PM – 7 AM on weeknights and 24 hours on weekends, 7–9 shifts per month)
- Collaborate closely with Imaging departments
Requirements
Must have:
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care IR RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Preferred:
- Meditech experience
- Strong vascular access skills
- PICC line or midline experience
