Travel Nurse RN - Radiology - $2,596 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Radiology for a 13‑week assignment in Fort Collins, Colorado. The position is for a Radiation Therapist working 40 hours per week on 8‑hour evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment
• Position patients accurately and comfortably for each treatment session
• Verify treatment settings and patient identity before delivering therapy
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Use imaging technology (e.g., CT, X‑rays) to guide accurate treatment delivery
• Document treatment details and maintain accurate patient records
• Communicate effectively with physicians, dosimetrists, and other team members
• Educate patients and families on procedures, side effects, and care during treatment
• Inspect, maintain, and calibrate radiation therapy equipment regularly
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols for both patients and staff

Requirements

• Current ARRT (T) National Certification
• Current BLS certification
• At least one year of experience as a Radiation Therapist (posting also notes a requirement of 2 years in some details)
• State licensure may be required

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
