About the role
TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Radiology for a 13‑week assignment in Bismarck, North Dakota, starting 11/02/2026. The role requires 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts. Candidates should have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience and be prepared to work in a diagnostic radiology environment as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Start or check peripheral IVs
- Access and assess infusaports
- Administer medications
- Monitor vital signs
- Suction patients
- Insert Foley catheters
- Assist patients with personal needs
- Inform the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs
- Perform specialized nursing duties such as administering IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures
- Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters
Requirements
- 1‑2 years recent acute care experience
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NIH certification
- Additional certifications may be required before assignment
