Travel Nurse RN - Post Partum - $2,252 per week
About the Role
Travel nursing assignment in Richmond, Virginia for a Post Partum RN. Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts.
Location: CJW Johnston Willis, 1401 Johnston Willis Drive, Richmond, VA 23235 (3rd floor, Atrium building).
Unit Details
- 24 beds, 71 staff members
- Day shift staff: labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary, leadership, educator
- Night shift staff: labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary
- Patient ratios: labor 1:1 (most of the time), post-partum 5-6:1, nursery 5-6:1
- Equipment: GE fetal monitors
- EMR: Meditech, CPN
Typical procedures performed on unit: vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum patients, newborn and post-partum care.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of labor experience (2+ years in an LDRP with high birth volumes preferred)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Fetal monitoring certification
Dress code: Navy blue scrubs (MIU nurses have pink badges for infant security).
Weekends and on-call: Every third weekend with 12 hours of call per 4-week schedule.
