Travel Nurse RN - Post Partum - $1,986 per week

About the Role

Travel nursing assignment in Austin, Texas at North Austin Medical Center (St. David's Healthcare). Specialty: Postpartum / Mother-Baby. Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Responsibilities

• Provide care for postpartum mothers and newborns in a couplet-care model.
• Manage patient ratios typically 3:1–4:1 (1:4 couplet care), occasionally 2:1 based on acuity.
• Document in Meditech and CPN EMR systems.
• Wear navy blue scrubs as required by the facility.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of Postpartum/Mother-Baby RN experience.
• BLS Certification.
• NRP Advanced Provider Certification (NRP Essentials is not accepted).

Pay

W2 Pay: $20/hour. Weekly stipend: $1,266. Weekly gross: $1,986.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Rotating weekends.
• No on-call requirement.
