AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a Travel Postpartum RN for a 13-week assignment in Wichita, Kansas. This role is at Wesley Medical Center, a 760-bed teaching hospital and Level I trauma center with a dedicated postpartum unit offering advanced maternal and neonatal care.
Wichita, the largest city in Kansas, provides a central location for travel nurses, with attractions like the Sedgwick County Zoo and proximity to Kansas City (2.5-hour drive).
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality postpartum nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
- Perform patient assessments and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with preference for Meditech experience.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure (Compact accepted).
- Minimum 2 years of recent postpartum nursing experience.
- BLS certification (copy required).
- NRP Advanced certification (AHA/AAP; copy required).
- No more than 90-day gap in work history within the last year.
- SSN and date of birth required for compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Meditech EMR experience.
