Travel Nurse RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - $3,501 per week

About the role

Binding Minds is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) position in Asheville, North Carolina (ZIP 28801). The assignment starts 11/02/2026 and lasts 8 weeks, with a schedule of 48 guaranteed hours per week (12‑hour night shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM). The role includes floating between the PICU and NICU, working in a 19‑bed pediatric oncology unit, using Cerner EMR, and maintaining a patient ratio of 1:3–1:5. Scrubs must be navy blue or white tops. Orientation consists of 4 hours of hospital orientation followed by an 8‑hour floor shift. RTOs and special scheduling requests will not be accommodated.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent PICU experience in an acute care setting
• Pediatric hospital experience
• Pediatric oncology experience
• Current BLS, PALS, and APHON (oncology) certifications

Pay

• Taxable W2 weekly pay: $1,925
• Non‑taxable weekly stipend: $1,575
• Total weekly gross pay: $3,500
• Guaranteed hours: 48 hours/week; overtime paid after 48 hours

Schedule

• Shift: 12‑hour nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Weekly hours: 48 guaranteed hours
• Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts, including 2 Saturdays
• Assignment length: 8 weeks
