Travel Nurse RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - $2,355 per week

About the role

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse – Location: Tallahassee, Florida. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment. The position requires flexibility to float to pediatric units based on census and patient needs, with responsibilities centered on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Float to pediatric units based on census and patient needs
• Operate specialized equipment including Plum 360 IV pumps, Medfusion 4000 syringe IV pumps, Covidien Kangaroo feeding pumps, Sapphire IV pumps, and other advanced medical devices

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Relevant pediatric care experience
• Must have current licensure to practice in Florida
• 2 years of related experience preferred

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
