Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled PICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and starts immediately.

Requirements

• One year of recent experience as a PICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification preferred

Qualifications

• Strong pediatric critical care skills
• Advanced clinical judgment
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment to patient safety and ethics

Essential Work Functions

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Prepare and operate advanced medical equipment
• Monitor and interpret vital signs
• Initiate a patient education plan
• Document all relevant history and physical assessments
• Respond to life-saving situations
