About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PICC for a travel nursing job in Wichita, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients requiring PICC lines.
- Work in a 3-bed unit with 3 staff members, including 1 night shift RN.
- Operate under a 1:1 patient ratio with typical patient ratios of 1:1.
- Utilize Bard 3CGEMR and Meditech / CPN for documentation and care coordination.
- Perform powerglide, middle line, and vein insertion procedures.
- Offer ultrasound experience and PICC line certification.
- Handle pediatric patients as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year current acute care PICC RN experience.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Prior Meditech experience preferred.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have no prior experience in these areas will not be considered.
