Travel Nurse RN - Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room - $2,235 per week

About the role

Pediatric Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse in the designated location. The nurse will be responsible for providing immediate, specialized nursing care to pediatric patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries in the emergency setting. This role involves assessing patient condition, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate, specialized nursing care to pediatric patients with acute illnesses or injuries.
• Assess patient condition, develop and implement treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care and safety.
• Utilize the nursing process, document accurately, address patient needs, facilitate discharge teaching.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Participate in educational activities and adhere to standards to support unit/hospital goals.

Requirements

• Completion of a basic professional curriculum of a school of nursing approved and verified by a state board of nursing.
• Hold or be entitled to hold a valid multi-state or state of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
• BLS certification through AHA.
• PALS certification.
• Zero (0) to six (6) months of related experience.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.
• Ability to examine clinical and numerical data in detail.

Schedule

Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
