Travel nurse RN Pediatrics CVICU position in Rochester, Minnesota. Start date: October 12, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week. Employment type: Travel. The role is in a highly specialized pediatric cardiac surgery intensive care unit providing advanced postoperative management of care.

Requirements

• 2 years of Pediatric CVICU experience (required)
• 6 months of previous travel experience (required)
• Active RN license applicable to the state
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery ICU experience (required)
• Must be comfortable floating as needed to other areas within the Mayo Clinic Children’s Center, which may include NICU and General Pediatric care areas

Skills

• Strong cardiac monitoring skills
• Ability to float to NICU and General Pediatric care areas

Schedule

• 13-week assignment
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Day/Night rotation: Days 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, Nights 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Every 3rd weekend
• 48 hours/week guaranteed (may be discussed and determined at time of offer)
