Travel Nurse RN - Pediatrics - $2,262 per week

About the role

We're looking for Pediatric RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Aurora, CO. The ideal candidate should have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience. As a Pediatric Travel Nurse you will provide preventative and acute care to children and adolescents in all settings, support patients and their families, and be prepared to perform a range of clinical duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate care to patients.
• Help patients to be comfortable with examination and procedures.
• Perform physical, medical and diagnostic tests.
• Assess for critical signs and symptoms in the pediatric and adolescent patient populations.
• Assist treating physician during examination, treatment and procedures.
• Provide information, education and support to patients' family members.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time; bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds at times.
• Face hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.

Requirements

• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Schedule

• Start date: January 5, 2027
• Duration: 14 weeks
• Shift: 12‑hour nights
• Hours per week: 36
