About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Pediatric Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for critically or chronically ill pediatric cancer patients. The RN will administer chemotherapy, implement symptom‑treatment methods, monitor patient progress, and create a supportive environment throughout all stages of the disease, with a focus on the acute phase.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for pediatric cancer patients throughout all stages, emphasizing the acute phase.
• Assist post‑surgical to near‑terminal patients in managing disease and treatment, including chemotherapy administration.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options, procedures, and disease specifics.
• Administer chemotherapy and implement new symptom‑treatment methods.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute‑care Pediatric Oncology setting.
• Additional client‑specific requirements may apply.
