Travel Nurse RN - Pediatrics - $2,228 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics for a travel nursing job in Tuba City, Arizona. We're looking for Pediatric RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Tuba City, AZ. The right RN should have 1-2 years' recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate care to patients.
• Help patients to be comfortable with examination and procedures.
• Perform physical, medical and diagnostic tests.
• Assess for critical signs and symptoms in the pediatric and adolescent patient populations.
• Assist treating physician during examination, treatment and procedures.
• Provide information, education and support to patients' family members.

Requirements

• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NIH certification
• 3 years of relevant experience (as noted)
• 1-2 years' recent acute care experience
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds
• Prepared to work 12‑hour night shifts
• Awareness of potential hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
