About the role
NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics for a 13-week assignment in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for pediatric patients under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
- Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Massachusetts.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Experience in pediatric care preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
- At least one year of recent clinical experience.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of pediatric care protocols and procedures.
