Travel Nurse RN - Pediatrics - $1,748 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Pediatric Pre Post Op Registered Nurse for a 13-week hospital contract. This role provides preoperative and postoperative nursing care for pediatric patients in the Pediatric PeriAnesthesia Unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care for pediatric patients.
• Monitor pediatric patients overnight or during extended recovery periods following surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and progress accurately.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including ACLS, BLS, and PALS requirements.

Requirements

• Active RN license; can submit with VA license pending.
• Experience in pediatric pre/post-operative care.

Schedule

• 13-week contract.
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30).
• Night shift, every other weekend, every other holiday.

Pay

Pay range: $1,850.21 - $1,942.72 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week).
