Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $3,484 per week
About the Role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This is a 13-week travel assignment with 48 hours per week, featuring 12-hour night shifts.
Type of equipment used on the unit includes bedside monitors, end-tidal O2 monitoring, high flow, chronic vents, and subdural drains. The EMR system in use is Meditech.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a PCU setting
- Perform typical procedures such as chest tubes and EEGs
- Work with telemetry and step-down patients
- Float to all inpatient units including ICU and ED as needed
Requirements
Must have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Telemetry experience
- Step-down experience
- ACLS & BLS certifications
Preferred or nice to have: Candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Neuro experience
- Trauma experience
- NHISS and TNCC certifications
