The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down care for a nights shift position at the acute care facility. The role involves providing patient care in the MedSurg Stepdown unit, supporting patients with various diagnoses, and operating within established clinical protocols. Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care
• Reading and interpreting telemetry strips
• Collaborating with team members
• Supporting acute patient needs on the MedSurg Stepdown unit
• Float rotation may be required

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar setting
• Willing to wait for license verification

Skills

• Experience with monitoring and interpreting tele strips
• Ability to titrate drips
• Proficient with EPIC charting system
