Job Summary
A Healthcare Professional (HCP) specializing in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a healthcare facility will provide high-quality patient care within a step-down unit. The role involves managing patients with conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, and substance abuse, among others. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: RN Medical Step Down Unit, 48-hour contract, 16-20 beds, patient ratio: 1 to 4.
- Certifications and Education Requirements: ACLS, BLS certifications; minimum 2 years of experience preferred; experience in managing complex medical cases such as sepsis, respiratory failure, and chronic illnesses.

- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shift hours, minimum 48 hours per week.

Pay and Schedule
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
