About the role
RN CSSU (648) 7:00PM - 7:00AM for 13 weeks at a 15-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio. Unit staffing includes 1-2 LNA support per shift. Equipment used: GE Monitors, Hamilton Bipap and Hiflo, Baxter IV Pumps, Hemospheres. Documentation system: Meditech Expanse.
- Schedule: 12 shifts per month (3 shifts per week), including 4 weekend shifts per month. Department leadership completes the schedule around the RTO.
- Floating policy: Travelers float first on a rotation basis.
- Patient Experience: MyCare boards updated each shift during bedside shift report. Bedside shift report required at every change of shift.
Requirements
- Strong telemetry skills
- Experience titrating vasoactive medications such as levophed, phenylephrine, dopamine, and dobutamine
- Chest tube experience
