Travel nurse RN position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Doctors Hospital of Augusta, Augusta, GA. The role involves 12‑hour day shifts (7a‑7p) with a schedule of 48 hours per week (or 36 hours per week as noted) for a 13‑week assignment starting 10/26/2026. The unit has 29 beds, aims for a 1:4 patient ratio (currently 1:5), and uses Alaris IV pumps, Welch Allyn vital sign machines, bladder scan, vein finder, and Meditech documentation. Staff float to areas of competency and must provide safe, high‑quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 29‑bed PCU aiming for 1:4 nurse‑to‑patient ratio.
• Utilize Alaris IV pumps, Welch Allyn VS machines, bladder scan, vein finder.
• Document patient care using Meditech.
• Adhere to floating policy: float to areas of competency as needed.
• Deliver safe, high‑quality, compassionate care to patients.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• ACLS certification (required).
• Familiarity with cardiac drips and insulin drips.
• Adhere to dress code: Royal Blue scrubs, no artificial or gel nails.
