About the role
We’re currently seeking a Step Down RN to join our team. This assignment is in a Step Down unit with an anticipated start date of ASAP and a length of 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients transitioning from ICU
- Monitor vitals and administer medications
- Titrate drips
- Educate patients and families on recovery
- Recognize early signs of patient deterioration
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
- Active RN license in the state of practice (or compact license)
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Specialty certifications (preferred): Telemetry, NIHSS for neuro patients
- 1–2+ years of step-down or ICU experience
