About the role
Travel RN assignment in Williamsburg, VA at a Magnet-recognized, 145-bed hospital featuring advanced healthcare technologies and a Certified Primary Stroke Center. The facility provides comprehensive services including heart and vascular care, cancer treatment, orthopedics, maternity, and advanced imaging.
The IMC Medicine Unit maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-6, caring for a mix of PCU, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical patients. Approximately 20% of patients require Intermediate Care (IMC) level, while the remainder are Telemetry and Med-Surg level. The unit is known for being traveler-friendly.
Responsibilities
- Provide progressive care for patients in the PCU, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical units
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Deliver strong clinical care in PCU and medicine unit settings
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive care unit (PCU) RN experience within the last 3 years
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Certifications: BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, NIH Stroke Scale
- Ability to work holidays and weekends
- Willingness to float as needed
- Scrub color: Navy Blue
Preferred Qualifications
- Compact RN license in-hand
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Experience with EPIC EMR
Pay
Pay Rate: $2,509.00 - $2,637.00 per week
