About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 12-week assignment in Salem, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia.
- 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, days.
- 3+ years recent acute care experience.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience in progressive care unit settings preferred.
