About the role

The healthcare professional specializing in the step down unit in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, will provide patient care in a high-acuity setting. The assigned role involves working rotating shifts, with a focus on cardiac nursing and critical care, requiring current certifications and experience to support patient needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a high-acuity step down unit
• Work rotating shifts, including nights or rotating shifts with every other weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) or straight weekends, and every other holiday
• Badge in and out at the facility
• Float to critical care areas as needed

Requirements

• Valid BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a similar setting
• Current ACLS certification
• EPIC electronic medical record experience
• Must disclose any previous employment at Sanford Health within the last six months (disqualifies if applicable)

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
