About the role

Travel RN-PCU job in Norfolk, VA for a 13-week assignment starting 09/21/2026. You’ll care for patients who need close monitoring and specialized support in a hospital with advanced technology and a collaborative team culture. Shift is 12 hours, days, with 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to progressive care unit patients
• Monitor and assess patients with complex medical needs
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Requirements

• Active Virginia RN license (Compact RN License preferred)
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of 2 years of recent progressive care unit experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Pay

Pay Rate: $2,467.00 - $2,593.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week).
