HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Number of Beds: 20
- Patient Ratios: 4:1
- Unit staffing description: Unit Secretary, Nurse Externs (can start IVs), Patient Care Techs (can draw labs), Registered Nurses, Manager, Director
- Type of equipment: ZOLL, Baxter pumps, GE telemetry monitors, imobile, Hillrom beds, Centrella Speciality beds, kangaroo pumps, Timpani and Inspire App (scheduling)
- Documentation system: Expanse
- Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, Holiday or hard to fill availability, 2 Mondays / 2 Fridays a schedule
- Floating policy: can float to other Step-Downs (4:1 - PSTU, CSU) Medsurg (6:1 - ONC, CRPU, GSTU, NTU, MCU)
- Patient Experience requirements: ACLS, Acute Care / Step-Down, Cardiac Drips (Dilt, Amio, Dobut, Milrinone, Nitro, etc), Post Cath without intervention, BIPAP/CPAP/High Flow, Chest Tubes
