About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a progressive care unit setting
• Assist with patient care activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse
• Perform basic life support procedures as needed
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to supervising nurse
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by physician orders
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of West Virginia
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Experience in progressive care unit preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Knowledgeable in progressive care unit protocols
