Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,260 per week

Job Summary

Step Down Unit RN in Bloomington, Illinois. This inpatient acute care position involves caring for patients with a variety of medical conditions, including respiratory, cardiovascular, neuro, and surgical cases. The role requires flexibility to work rotating nights, weekends, and holidays, with comprehensive unit training and orientation.

Schedule

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) will work three 12-hour shifts with rotating nights, weekends, and holiday. The RN would be assigned to a holiday and weekend rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid licensure to practice as a registered nurse
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a similar setting
• Extensive ICU experience is beneficial for floating to Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Float Requirements

Float rotation may be required; Travel RNs are first to float and may work in ICU if they have the required experience or in general medical floors.

Additional Information

• 32-bed inpatient acute floor with all private rooms
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 3-4 patients per nurse
• Charting system: EPIC
• Orientation includes a one-day session with the education team and one day on the floor
• Scrubs in any color are acceptable dress code
