Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,230 per week

About the Role

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Derry, New Hampshire. This position involves providing specialized care in a 20-bed PCU within a hospital setting, delivering critical patient care, recognizing dysrhythmias, managing cardiac drips, and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for cardiac, medical-surgical, and emergency department hold patients.
• Utilize GE cardiac monitoring and Hospira IV pumps.
• Demonstrate strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Float rotation may be required.

Requirements

• Active NH RN license at the time of submission.
• Active compact licensing at submission.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
• No minimum years of experience required, but at least 2 years of hospital setting experience is preferred.
• Prior experience in cardiac pre-post procedures, pacer patient care, and HCA environment is preferred.

Schedule

Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
