Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,208 per week

About the role

A Stepdown RN will monitor patients who require frequent assessment but who aren't unstable enough to need care in a critical setting. This includes monitoring vital signs, detecting changes in patient condition, administering medications, and providing hands-on care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety and comfort
• Monitor vital signs and detect changes in patient condition
• Administer medications as ordered
• Provide hands-on care

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Iowa
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of progressive care unit experience preferred
• Experience with step-down care and monitoring of patients

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
