Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,180 per week

Job Summary

Step Down Unit Nurse (Specialty: Step Down) providing skilled nursing care to patients requiring intermediate clinical support. This role demands adaptability to care for a wide variety of patients, including those experiencing stroke, cardiac conditions, post-operative recovery, and general medical issues, utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a step down/progressive care unit
• Care for patients with stroke, cardiac conditions (including cardiac drips), post-operative recovery (orthopedic, general surgery, GYN, GU, etc.), and general medical cases
• Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• At least 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical (MS) or Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) environments
• Experience with EPIC and travel assignments
• Ability to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles

Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• 13-week duration
