Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,090 per week

About the Role

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a unit that supports patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical units. Candidates with some oncology experience and completion of specific chemotherapy courses are preferred to meet unit-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care in the Progressive Care Unit
• Support patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical units

Requirements

• Michigan license or certification to practice as an RN
• At least 1 year of nursing experience
• Current CPR certification
• Successful completion of the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course for administering vesicant chemotherapy
• Prior oncology or unit-based oncology experience preferred
• Candidates must complete a unit-based oncology course and orientation before administering non-vesicant chemotherapy
• Patients actively receiving chemotherapy infusions will not be assigned to a floating contractor unless the candidate has completed the ONS course or is OCN certified

Schedule

• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
