About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Lima, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Maintain patient safety and quality of care through continuous monitoring and assessment.
- Utilize computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other critical vital signs and detect any changes.
- Intervene in life-threatening or emergency situations based on patient's vital signs.
- Administer complex medications as directed by physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Active RN License
- BLS & ACLS Certifications
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting
Qualifications
- Accredited nursing program degree
- Experience in progressive care unit/step-down setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Skills
- Proficiency in computerized monitoring systems
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay
