Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test
Valid licensing as a registered nurse
No minimum years of experience required
Unit Description
Unit Capacity: 23 Beds
Population Served: Patients with heart diagnoses, including sheaths and external pacemakers
Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+)
Nurse to Patient Ratios: 4/5:1 based on patient acuity
Core Staffing Plan: Variable staffing grid including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Nurse Interns (NIs), with RNs assuming full responsibility for assigned patients
