Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $1,869 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Greenville, South Carolina. The role is for a Step Down Registered Nurse on a 13‑week travel contract starting 10/26/2026, working 36 hours per week in 12‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs, signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses
• Documents the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions
• Initiates and evaluates patient and/or family education
• Revises and documents the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step‑down setting
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility
