Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $1,838 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Asheville, North Carolina.

About the Role

This is a travel nursing position in a hospital setting, designed to meet today’s workforce needs. The role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PCU environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a PCU setting.
• Assist with patient assessments, medication reconciliation, and care planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient flow.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Cerner system.
• Float to other units within your skill set as needed, adhering to policies.
• Comply with hospital and unit-specific policies, including dress code and safety protocols.
• Support ED decompression initiatives through efficient patient throughput.
• Perform minimal bedside procedures with a focus on safety and patient comfort.
• Ensure patient safety and care are the top priorities in all interactions.

Schedule

• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Duration: 12 weeks (contract length: 13 weeks)
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
