Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $1,838 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Asheville, North Carolina.

About the Role

This is a travel nursing position in a hospital setting. The contract is for 13 weeks with a schedule of 36 hours per week, primarily 12-hour shifts. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to cardiac and vascular surgery patients on the CV Progressive Care unit.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage complex cardiac medications including phenylephrine, dobutamine, dopamine, milrinone, and others.
• Assist with procedures such as epidural management, chest tube management, and IV therapy.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Comply with unit policies, safety standards, and documentation protocols using Cerner EMR.
