Requirements
- Active VA or Compact License in hand at submission
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- 2 years of RN experience
- Strong cardiac tele/stepdown nurse with experience managing chest tubes and dysrhythmia
- Experience working with CVSD patients and telemetry
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to cardiac surgery patients in the stepdown ward post-ICU
- Manage chest tubes and monitor for dysrhythmias efficiently
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient status and interventions accurately using electronic medical records
- Adhere to hospital protocols related to telemetry and cardiac care
