About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week contract at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality, and compassionate care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses every 4 hours or as dictated by patient condition.
  • Administer medications, including cardiac and insulin drips, following hospital protocols.
  • Collaborate with a cohesive team of staff, including unit secretaries and techs, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, including floating policies within competencies, and maintain certification standards such as ACLS.
  • Utilize equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, Welch Allyn VS machines, bladder scan, and vein finder efficiently.
  • Complete required documentation and assessments each shift.

Qualifications
