About the role

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Grayling, Michigan. The RN will rotate between pre-operative, post-operative, and recovery (PACU) areas, providing patient care during same-day surgery admissions, IV management, discharges, and patient education in a dynamic environment.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts, rotating day/evening shifts including nights
• Weekdays on-call (1 in 5 nights)

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in pre-operative, post-operative, and recovery (PACU) areas
• Manage same-day surgery admissions and IV therapy
• Handle patient discharges and education
• Float rotation may be required

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Valid certifications at time of placement

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
