Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,756 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a PACU - Post Anesthesia Care assignment in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The assignment starts October 26, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week on 8‑hour evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recovering patients from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients while they wake up from surgery until they are released, either by discharge to outpatient or transfer to the floor.
• Provide care for post‑operative patients recovering from anesthesia, including general, regional, and local.
• Treat inpatients and outpatients according to their needs.
• Administer diligent care via monitoring, assessment, intervention, and continuous reassessment.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PACU setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
