About the role
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with specialization in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) located in Vermont. The role involves providing postoperative patient care on a rotating day/evening shift schedule.
Schedule
- Start Date: 09/07/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 10 hours, days, evenings

Responsibilities
- Provide postoperative care in the PACU
- Care for pediatric (Peds) and gynecologic (GYN) patient populations
- Participate in float rotation as required
Requirements
- Valid RN license in any state (Vermont license must be applied for upon acceptance)
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of PACU or post-anesthetic recovery experience
- Experience with Pediatric (Peds) and GYN patients
- Willingness to work in Rutland, Vermont
Preferred Qualifications
- Cerner Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
- Prior experience in post-anesthetic recovery settings
Additional Information
- Orientation sessions are held biweekly
- Schedule requests are subject to managerial approval
- Profile packet must include accurate work history with facility details, explanation of employment gaps, and verification of all qualifications prior to submission

Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
