Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,493 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role starts 10/26/2026 for an 18‑week assignment, 48 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post‑operative patients as they recover from surgical anesthesia.
• Handle a broad range of patients from pediatrics to adults.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's condition.
• Monitor critical patients for condition changes and report to the physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient moving/lifting may require up to 50 pounds.
• Cope with stress in a fast‑paced environment and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications (additional certifications may be required before assignment).

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 48.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
