Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,350 per week

About the role

PACU - Post Anesthesia Care nurses care for patients recovering from anesthesia after surgery. They monitor post-operation vital signs, assess levels of consciousness, and observe patients for side effects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Absorb and report on patient progress
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Document all patient interactions and observations accurately

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current RN license in Massachusetts
• At least 1 year of acute care experience
• Experience in PACU preferred

Qualifications

• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN
• Current BLS certification

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective problem-solving abilities
