Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,264 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Louisville, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of patients from pediatrics to adults.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's condition.
• Maintain close monitoring of critical patients for condition changes and report to the physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
• Be prepared to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds at times.
• Have good skills for coping with stress and be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• NIC or NRP certification.
• At least 2 years of recent acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
