Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,218 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN PACU position in Knoxville, Tennessee at Turkey Creek Metro Knoxville Med. (10820 Parkside Dr, Knoxville, TN 37934). 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts providing post‑anesthesia care.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience in a hospital setting
• Current state nursing license

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school
• Appropriate certifications as required for the PACU RN position
• Ability to communicate clearly (read, write, speak, understand English)
• Demonstrate adherence to code of conduct and compliance policies
