Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,084 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a PACU – Post Anesthesia Care position in Cleveland, Ohio. This is a 14‑week travel assignment requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts. The opening is immediate.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of patients from pediatrics to adults.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's condition.
• Monitor critical patients for condition changes and report to the physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds.
• Cope with stress in a fast‑paced environment.
• Relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
